Schools & Community Centers: How It works
We partner with schools and community centers in low-income, underserved neighborhoods. Some of our metrics include at least 50% of students being on free or reduced-price lunch and being located in a neighborhood where the average household income is below the federal poverty line.
Our curriculum targets girls who are unlikely to receive the information we offer either in their home or their school environment.
Our workshops are FREE and typically take place once a week over the course of 6 weeks, where each week covers a different one of our curriculum topics. Each session is about one hour long but can be modified according to the time we have allotted.
